New comment on #892 in re to this. Also, for some reason I thought this was a part of Sprint 1. Apologies, I wouldn't have started on it so soon if I realised it was Sprint 4.

Personally I actually really don't like when sites stick me with a tutorial right after I signed up. I should be able to know enough from the pre-signup stuff before hand. So this tutorial (or a short version of it) should probably be shown before the user signs up? But thats my opinion. What to does everyone else think ( @SI-lisa @tlaloc75 )? Maybe we should just give it as an option in the personal menu and remind the user about it through the alert mechanism?

luchia commented 9 years ago

Yeah, me either - that's why I changed the welcome screen so they have the option to take the tutorial or to skip it (with a reminder that they can access it at a later date). But if you think that's still too much, I can do something different for this.

I probably should have posted this on the hacky JS-tutorial issue as it's more relevant to that.

Lets leave it for now. We can remove it later if we feel its too much.

Cool, sounds good.

Deved, needs feedback.

I thought I'd take some screenshots of my version so you can see the little bits and pieces I've been working on the last couple of months. Also, this way I can get feedback and continue refining them.

This has been laid out in HTML, but now should be built with Foundation's built-in feature Joyride so that can carry the bulk of the work needed to make this feature work.
