Describe the bug
When running an instance of Minecraft 1.20.2 and only this mod installed (+ required fabric API), the game crashes upon executing.
To Reproduce
Install Minecraft 1.20.2
Install fabric loader, fabric API, and MidnightControls
Launch game
Expected behavior
Game executes and runs.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
OS: SteamOS (Steam Deck)
Minecraft 1.20.2
Fabric 0.89.2+1.20.2
Mods - only MidnightControls
Version 1.8.2+1.20
Branch release
Additional context
The same version of MidnightControls worked on 1.20 and 1.21. Looks like Mojang changed something that it modifies, causing it to break.
