So, as many of you know, This Rocks! got out of AOF3. The reason for that is that the starfish uses a blockentity renderer, because traditional block models only allow rotation values in 22.5 steps, which made it impossible to create a decent looking starfish model as a block model. Using a BER turned out fine for me and most users, but there were some reports of decreased performance, which led to the mod being removed in the latest release of AOF. I was told to use a baked model instead of a BER, but I don't understand them at all and to be honest, I currently lack motivation to do it. So If anyone here knows baked models, please, please, make a pr, I'll make sure to credit you in the mod's description.
