Currently it's impossible to launch the pack if you keep your Java up to date (as is generally reccommended to do so for security and performance purposes), requiring Java 8 Update 311 or below.
This is a major issue- it should not be required to downgrade to a less secure and less stable Java version to run a modpack, especially given Forge has already fixed this issue and all it takes to fix it is to switch the Forge version used up a few releases.
Expected Behaviour
The pack should be able to run on updated Java Version 8.
Forge 1.16.5 Version 36.2.26 (and above) fixes this issue, and should be included by default, rather than continuing to use the severely outdated Version 36.2.20.
I have confirmed the modpack will launch using Version 36.2.26, so it seems every mod utilized is at the very least compatible with that version. Version 36.2.34, which is the current reccommended 1.16.5 Forge and contains several fixes, also launches.
