Make swipe buttons more visually distinct or move them to a different position #3742

I am running the latest version 0.19.5 available via F-Droid. Currently, video comments are not shown in any videos. Is there any function that I am not aware of that needs to be enabled? If yes, it needs to be radically simplified or enabled by default. If not, what are the technical reasons why comments not displayed? It seems that Invidious displays them just fine.

Please follow the issue template when creating an issue, don't just delete everything! Now I have to ask questions you would have already answered: do you get any error? Do you see a "Nothing here but crickets" screen? Or are there only related videos, below the thumbnail and info, without the ability to swipe?

For me this was simply a way to be more efficient. Apologies if this caused any workflow issues on your side.

Thanks. It looks like this was already enabled by default.

without the ability to swipe

This is it! I have used this app for about half a year but I have absolutely not seen the two round buttons at the bottom to swipe left or right. So this is not a bug but a usability issue.

My suggestion is to move the two round button controls up into the black space in a centered position between Next and Autoplay.
