search music by genre

Why do you want this feature?

I am most interested in using NewPipe for music streaming. However, for this I lack all the possibilities to find music without searching by names of bands/albums. Instead by metadata like genres. It also lacks a kiosk for Youtube Music. With the existing for Bandcamp I can unfortunately do nothing without filters.

If there are already possibilities I would be grateful for info.

Search/filter feature is being worked on. Right now the focus is on YT search filters. Once the basics are in place, we could look at adding more kinds of filters, such as for YT Music.

Meanwhile, check out ViMusic on F-Droid.
