Currently there are 2 things I would like to achieve with PnC refinery
Cryogenic distillation
Vacuum distillation
For the first part, a operating temperature range is needed. Currently the CT method gives a minimum but no maximum.
The temperature variation logic would also need some modifications, it should converge to ambient temperature instead of descending due to the fact that the feed is introduced at ambient temperature.
Also, a temperature monitor module would be useful even for normal refinery operations.
For the second part it will require some extra modification to the refinery, which is to introduce pressure to the system. This takes advantage of various interesting mechanism in PnC to its maximum, also gives the vacuum pump an extra purpose.
