Please reinstall the latest release. If this doesn't work, you might be one of the unfortunate few for who dsound.dll does not work for. We are working on a solution that will avoid this problem.

If the game does not generate a zhl.log (as in the only log you have is the one when it worked) its because dsound.dll is not being loaded at all....now, there are a quintillion potential reasons as to "why?" and theres no way for us to know which one applies to your specific setup. That being said, magic does not work in the world of computing, so if it did work on the 11th of past month and nothing truly changed in your PC since then then it should work today....BUT, again, magic does not exist, so if it no longer works it is because something DID CHANGE, again, we have no way of knowing what.....try to remember what you did on that day, check your windows event logs for the day for clues and the classic stuff....for one, Id say just wait for the launcher which may not have this issue.

Well, remove it, see if it regenerates when you launch the game....everything seems to point out to that file being generated back when it worked as theres absolutely nothing wrong with that log.

Good, again, that means your game is not loading dsound.dll which is escential for this mod to work, I proceed to close this issue since theres not much for us to do here as, again, the entire mod relies on that dll being loaded. We have no way of knowing why your system is ignoring our dll, it can be your AV, it can be your sound drivers, it can be a lot of things....this issue should be resolved when we change from dsound.dll to an exe injector.
