Better word wrap

I find the word wrap settings difficult to use, in a few ways:

• I can't tell what the difference is in behavior of the 3 word wrap choices: On, Word Wrap, and Bounded.
• Requiring the user to specify a column width for wrapping seems old-school
• Word wrap is something I tend to want to toggle on/off on a per-document basis, but you can't

What about if the current system was replaced with a simple "Word Wrap" menu option, remembered on a per-document basis while the document is open, which wraps to the edge of the window?
