Instant Watch, without adding video to Playlist.

Hi !

Had this idea for a feature maybe, like a "Switch Mode" thing, where you can play videos without adding them to the Playlist.

Something like www.Watch2gether.com, you search and hit play there's no playlist. Playlist is important of course when you're a group of people in a room, but when its just two of you in a room it would be nice to have a feature like this.

Yep, we actually need to figure out how we're gonna do all the options/creation interfaces!

Yeah I meant "how" from a UX perspective.

Which would be a lot easier to go through in plenum with a whiteboard instead of github comments!

We also need to decide where we're going in terms of pages, because right now this is effectively a single page app with a mock php index.

i agree. the second issue was right there at the start, so i didn't really focus on functionality in index.php. at least it looks pretty up till now :D

This sounds like it would be a great feature. But yeah a simple checkbox to go from start to end of a video and that's it. Or you can setup a playlist and it just keeps going

On synchtube they had TV mode where everyone can add and items are removed from the playlist after playback

Yes indeed, what about a button where the controls are something like "Tv Mode" Click the button takes you to a search, you do a video search hit play and it plays right away without adding it to the playlist.
