TWRP Decryption / Encryption Bug. Moto X4 (Payton)

Device codename: Payton TWRP version: 3.2.3-1

WHAT STEPS WILL REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM?

TWRP Decrypting System with correct Patternlock, dosent work "encryp

WHAT IS THE EXPECTED RESULT?

Decrtypting my Phone normally

WHAT HAPPENS INSTEAD?

It gives me an error that my device cannot be decrypted, if i do the correct pattern.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I upgraded my Moto X4 from Oreo to Pie and now it dosent work even if i roll back to Oreo

Having the same problem. Assume this is related to the note on the payton page.

"NOTE: Monthly security updates may break decryption of /data in TWRP. MTP does not work at this time, but you can use adb to transfer files."

@kaneawk erfanoabdi, is there something to be done to update this?

I am also experiencing this with PIN lock on Pie
