TWRP 3.0.0-2 and later not working on BQ Aquarius A4.5 #2

Update from 3.0.0-1 to 3.0.0-2 broke TWRP for me on a BQ Aquarius A4.5 (dendeone). It's probably the same with M4.5 (dende).

The problem is that recovery is not shown, but I think the phone just reboots (it's hard to tell) and then boots the system normally.

I have tried every version up until the current 3.0.2-0 and it is the same in every one.

Version got bumped on https://eu.dl.twrp.me/dendeone/ to 3.2.1, so that gave me hopes, but it still doesn't work. That said, I'd recommend to stick to Android 6 on this device for a while longer.

Could you describe exactly what happens when you try to boot into recovery? (Either through adb reboot recovery or volume + power button)

I don't know the original poster, but what I'm seeing is that whenever I boot into recovery, regardless of the method, it just skips recovery mode and then boots Android. I have been able to fastboot and then the default recovery appears, instead of TWRP. Any ideas?

I'm still using the working v3.0.0-1 and unfortunately do not have other solutions.
