Device Decryption not working #1

Open bjoern-tantau opened 8 years ago

Probably a known issue, but I'd like to get notifications about it. I encrypted the storage of my Z1 with the phone encryption feature of Cyanogenmod 13 https://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/153944/cm-13.0-20160316-SNAPSHOT-ZNH0EAO1QC-ham.zip.

But in TWRP I don't get any option of decrypting the device.

I got decryption working: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68245349&postcount=64

I'll try to add a pull request.

Please submit to our gerrit instance instead at gerrit.twrp.me.

bjoern-tantau commented 8 years ago

I wasn't able to push it to gerrit, so I opened a PR instead.

bigbiff commented 8 years ago

What was the problem. We need you to push to Gerrit for our automated procedures to work.

I didn't get any confirmation email to add my email address, so my commits to gerrit were rejected with the error

Doesn't work with my github address either. I'm on #twrp on freenode if you'd like to help me.

bigbiff commented 8 years ago

Probably around 6pm est after work if you can wait.

bjoern-tantau commented 8 years ago

That'd be the middle of the night for me. The messages here will have to suffice then.

Apparently the email address was not imported from github and I can't add one manually. Someone else on #twrp seems to be having the same problem.
