[Bug] Cannot enter Chinese characters in search boxes #523

Describe the bug

This issue prevents user from using search features therefore should be addressed as soon as possible

Steps to reproduce the behavior

clearly demonstrated in attached video

Expected behavior

user can enter Chinese characters normally

Environment

Teardown Version 1.5.3
OS: Windows 11 (23H2, 22631.3007)

Additional context

Issue might not limited to Chinese only.
