When I wanted to test Windows 11, I came across the issue that EmuGUI has problems with editing VMs. Combo boxes would get messed up and VHDs would have to be recreated.
How to reproduce: Just create a VM and try to edit it. You will see how much it gets messed up.
My specifications:
Host OS: Linux Mint 21.1 x64
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (one core was for 11)
RAM: 12 GB DDR3 (6 GB for 11)
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 240
Hard drives: 500 GB SATA HDD (80 GB for 11), 250 GB SATA HDD, 320 GB USB HDD
QEMU: 6.2.0
EmuGUI: 1.1.0.5408
Guest OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 x64
Additional info: An USB 3.0 stick with 32 GB which contains an ISO file for the guest OS has been used to install the OS.
Workaround: Be prepared to reinstall VMs whenever you edit them. However, you might get around that data loss by deleting and re-creating the VM with the option to use an existing drive.
