Hi, Unfortunately I can only provide official support for the browsers listed in the readme. In order for this theme to work, your CSS interpreter must support the @moz CSS header format. This is because different style sections are activated and de-activated depending on which page of the site you are on. .user.css files are for applications that support the UserCSS format, and .moz.css files are for applications that do not support UserCSS but do support the @ moz document format. If WebCatalog only supports plain *.css files, I'm afraid this won't work.
If you're looking for a desktop YTM app that works with this theme, I suggest installing the PWA using Chrome or another Chromium-based browser, or using PWAs for Firefox.
I applied the User CSS stylesheet (and also the Mozilla one, just in case it helped) in WebCatalog as CSS Code injection, but the dark theme persists. I did notice that the end of the file seemed to have an additional (extra) curly bracket, but removing that did not help either.
