A lot of the material in this repository is the type that is easily used as wiki. GitHub has a wiki feature for individual repositories.

We should look into the time cost and advantages of changing these documents to a wiki format when we update them. It might not be worth our time, but it might be.

Could you create some sort of wiki intro page? Like "This is the Reference section, where we store all of our reference material, etc, etc."?

Numeri commented 9 years ago

I will, totally, if we decide that we want to transfer these files to the wiki format... do we really think it's worth the time?

MichelfrancisBustillos commented 9 years ago

I think it's a good idea. We will handle most of the move later. I'd just like to get it started now. On Sep 12, 2015 9:51 PM, "Numeri" notifications@github.com wrote:

Now, I've been updating the github tutorials, so I can just do them in markdown and put them on the wiki.

Numeri commented 9 years ago

Other people could do some too, if we have more to do.

MichelfrancisBustillos commented 9 years ago

That's great, only issue is that I don't know markdown. On Sep 12, 2015 10:11 PM, "Numeri" notifications@github.com wrote:

It is a really easy way to make really nicely formatted documents. Mostly, you just type regular text. https://guides.github.com/features/mastering-markdown/

How are the first two tutorials?
