Techjar / Vivecraft_BungeeCord_Extensions

Co-authored by SeqSEE. This is just a support plugin for the BungeeCord proxy, you still need to install VSE on your backing Spigot/Paper server(s): https://github.com/jrbudda/Vivecraft_Spigot_Extensions/releases

Velocity Extensions #1

hey,

as you might know, Velocity is an alternative proxy which is a lot more performant than all bungee deriatives, and growing fast because of the completely modern redesign from scratch. I'd like to ask whether you would consider porting BungeeCordExtensions to Velocity, as a native support would be quite convenient for the increasing number of networks using Velocity. Emulated support via the Velocity plugin "SNAP" is not feasible, since it introduces issues one might want to avoid.

Sincerely :D

I have created a quick port of the Bungee version for Velocity. I hope it helps you! https://github.com/Mrredstone5230/Vivecraft_Velocity_Extensions

i know you haven't thought about it in a long time, but how do i make this work? i've tried every combination of zipping, unzipping, renaming to .jar and nothing works

SB2DD commented 10 months ago

Just download the .jar file from the Releases tab on GitHub, and put that file in the plugins folder of Bungeecord. Please note that you also have to install the Vivecraft mod on your client, and that it still has to be installed on your servers as a mod or a plugin.

Noahjames64 commented 10 months ago

SB2DD commented 10 months ago

Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't: I didn't test it for 1.12.2, but I think it should work. Same thing for 1.13.

For anyone here, I tried on latest velocity version 1.20.6 and looks like working fine
