Index Solr on tdk2 based on jbs-text

Follow these steps and then document in README.md:

• git clone jbs-text
• git clone jbs-ir
• Parse jbs-text into documents within an output directory
• (Re)index Solr based on output directory.
• Write guidelines within README.md

What we did:

• git clone jbs-text
• git clone jbs-ir (along with its .jar file)
• Parse jbs-text into documents within an output directory, after copying the .jar file to a convenient location
• Index Solr based on output directory

Some questions:

• What is the correct methodology regarding the .jar file?
  1. Do we place the .jar in github?
  2. Do we create the .jar locally from the code we pulled?
  3. Do we perform a maven command to run the code?

I'm adding to the conversation one our JBS teams @TechnionTDK/team-json23plet. As far as I know, they do not place the jar in GitHub but:

• Clone their repo
• Run the command: mvn install (this is a maven command to build the entire project and where the jar is produced)

I'm not sure what they did exactly to have the jar produced that way so you can ask them directly.
