Requirements for a good project in Software Engineering

• Smooth, error free, installation of the project throughout the development process (I should be able to install it at any given time on my machine without a problem)

• C.I. (Continuous Integration) with a high level of test cases being run at each commit.

• Test Coverage of at least 75% and with clear understanding of what is and isn't going to be covered (such as gui) from the beginning

• Coding Standards being met by every developer in the group, that were agreed upon at the start of semester

• Minimal Documentation in code as requested by Prof. Gil: @author, @date and a line about the class/function in the code

• Usability of product: level of finished product (no empty menus, no bugs, no misplaced gui items, legible font, clean and well planned windows)

• Logging and Exception handling: using a logger, and handling exceptions as requested by Prof. Gil

• Stability: Crash free, bug free product, with stable and robust features

This is the (incomplete) list of minimal requirements that the SE yearly projects are graded on. Beyond this list, the contribution of each member in the group to the project is factored in the grade
