on my android browser CNAME records are not resolved (correctly)
first off : it works on my PC which gets its settings from the same dhcp server
the setup:
dhcp server gives dns suffix (from router)
dhcp server points to technitium server
technitium has a CNAME zone within the router provided suffix zone pointing to another domain within the zone
(suffix is appended in CNAME setup)
on my android smartphone this doesnt get resolved correctly 🤔
according to my inquiries , there seems to be a network stack implementation for smartphones that doesnt resolve CNAME records
so i was wondering if there can be a setting to resolve CNAME records within the dns server and then return the resulting ip as probably an A RECORD 🤔 (i hope this makes sense im fairly new ^^)
