What You'll Do (Job Description)

• Work across all levels of the tech stack, including web frontend, native mobile apps, server side APIs, third party data integrations, and system administration.
• Take ownership of at least one component of our tech stack.
• Work with our Product Owners to build, maintain, and improve our many technology projects. The Senior Software engineer should have advanced proficiency in at least a few of our technologies and will be expected to lead development efforts.
• Support and mentor colleagues in software engineering.
• Write, clean, maintainable and testable code.
• Strive to follow the industry best practices and standards.
• Commit to learning new technologies and growing expertise in existing technologies to improve their craft

What You Need to Be Successful (Skills)

Must Have

• Full capability of taking substantial features from concept to shipping as the sole programmer (alongside a designer).
• Ability to provide material feedback on the work of other programmers.
• Deep expertise within at least one programming environment.
• Basic proficiency in at least one additional programming environment.
• A passion for writing testable code

Nice to Have

• React Native (or any other mobile environments)
• Ruby on Rails (or any other server-side frameworks)
• Elastic Search
• Mongodb (or any other NoSQL database)
