What You'll Do (Job Description)
As a Data Annotator at Sentinel you will help train our novel deep learning models to better recognize deepfakes, shallowfakes and all sorts of different altered and synthetic media. You will collaborate directly with everyone from members of the engineering to intelligence and operations team in constructing the world's most powerful synthetic media detection tool.
You will work at the forefront of AI, cybersecurity, intelligence and technology. Our founding team ranges from cybersecurity experts at NATO to product leaders at Silicon Valley’s top unicorns.
You will be at the front lines of the fight to defend democracy against its greatest threat.
What You Need to Be Successful (Skills)
Key responsibilities include:
• Watch various media modalities (videos, images, audio), determine & classify them based on authenticity • Help architect the world’s foremost knowledgebase on deepfakes and syntethic media • Help inform the development of new data tools and techniques to better identify, organize & categorize disinformation • Work directly with engineers and operational staff to provide frontline context on our data pipelines
Requirements:
• An excellent communicator in verbal and written English • Highly motivated, energetic and result oriented • Organized, proactive and detail oriented • Patient and comfortable with repetitive tasks • Self-motivated to work independently • Some technical background preferred • Previous knowledge/context on deepfakes & disinformation

Sentinel is a technology company based in Tallinn, Estonia building AI tools to detect deepfakes and disinformation. We work with countries and defense agencies to help protect democracies from disinformation attacks, synthetic media and influence campaigns.
