Hi RyanWor,
Did you get the latest Openterface MacOS from Apple App store? If yes, please try to get the software from TestFlight. The app store version is quite out of date.
The lastest version in TestFlight right now is 1.3(14), if you don't have the Test Flight access link, please contact us again, thanks.
I did not even know there was a version in public Mac App Store. I am on the latest Test Flight build available to me which is 1.2(7).
I've noticed that our latest app update was not approved on the TestFlight external beta test due to lack of a video or physical device for review. This was a consequence of Apple's review process; it deemed our submission incomplete. While we understand that creating a video every time is time-consuming, especially because our app is evolving regularly, we are left with two potential solutions to navigate around this problem:
You could become a part of our internal TestFlight group. However, please be aware that this would expose you to frequent changes and possibly unstable development versions of our 'Openterface' App. This process will allow you to experience firsthand the evolution and growth of our product.
Alternatively, I could attempt to create a dmg version of the app. This version wouldn't require Apple's review, but I must admit that I am not completely sure about its feasibility since constructing a dmg app is relatively new to me.
We appreciate your understanding while we navigate through this issue and are hopeful for a favorable outcome.

No worries. I'm fine with the nightly/bleeding edge releases. I believe you can switch back to previous versions on TestFlight anyways should a showstopping bug arise.
Do you need my AppleID or is that just accessed via a new voucher code?
Hi Ryan,
Can you share your Apple ID to me? I will add you to our internal test group.
And I am not sure if the upgrade will work, as other beta testers seems no problem with 1.2(7) version.
Regards, Kevin

Host: M1 MacBook Air (2020) Host OS/version: macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 Connection type: host USB-C to openterface Host USB-C via included orange USB-C cable
Host client: openterface macOS 1.2 (7)
Targets tested: Lenovo X1 Yoga Gen6 (Windows 11 23H2) Z490+i9 Desktop (Windows 11 23H2) Raspberry Pi 4 8GB (Raspbian OS 64-bit aka Debian 12/Bookworm)
Targets tested using HDMI and tested with both USB-A and USB-C adapter (except for Raspberry Pi)
Video and keyboard control work as expected on all targets but controlling mouse (either in absolute or relative mode) does not work from the mac client. HID mouse driver is visible and appears to be working normally in device manager on targets, however no mouse movement or clicks initiated inside the macOS client occur on any target device tested so far.
(This does not appear to be a device or hardware issue as mouse control on these same targets works as expected using a different Windows PC as a host running openterface Windows 1.0.1)
