Two different versions of EW: support the mod together? #2

I'm an old school RimWorld gamer, just came back to the community after a 2-year long pause. Noticed that there're supporters of the good old mod (the second is here). Don't know what are the differences between your versions, but I'm already aware that compatibility with other mods differs. Maybe you should maintain the mod together?

This version is little more than an update to the original aimed at continuing support. It declares new elements using XML. It uses XML patch operations to add support for other modules and to modify defs from Core.

Expanded Woodworking went down the assembly-based module approach and was created not long after I made this fork of the original mod. Expanded Woodworking does the same job, but should have greater flexibility. I haven't used it so can't really comment further.

As for a merge, I wasn't really looking to develop this mod to any significant degree, limited time. My goal was to make it work for A16 onwards. I don't mind adding or attempting to fix patches if something is broken.

thanks for your reply. is it possible to use your compatibility patches with the other mod (or vice-versa), do you know?
