Well to be fair, when there is no version of Chisel installed it does say "Chisel: any" but it seems as though even with 1.0.1 of More Chisels you need at least Chisel 2.3.1

It's kind of expected for you to keep up with the latest version of the mod... If you're adding to a pack, then it's on you to update.
