Video Calling Multitasking, System Slowdown and Overheating

Description

Video calling overheats phone and causes system to freeze or respond slowly when switching apps. Long video call sessions begin to cause telegram video to become choppy, and multitasking while on video call causes extreme system wide slowdown.

Expected Behavior

Video call sustains over long period of time with mild heating due to video encoding.

Actual Behavior

Video becomes choppy and distorted. Phone overheats. Extreme system wide slow down on multitasking or suspending application.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Video call for long period of time (>30 minutes)
2. Once phone begins to heat up, attempt to multitask switch application
3. Attempt to switch back to telegram

Will try include a video when it happens, but once phone begins to slow down, system is unusable.

Device: iPhone Xs

iOS version: 14.4

App version: 7.5.1

Actually its overheating of battery which causes throttle CPU and this is the reason why system is unusable.

Actually its overheating of battery which causes throttle CPU and this is the reason why system is unusable.

It only happens with telegram, perhaps there is some optimisation that needs to take place to reduce overheating.

I have the same issue, even with voice chats

Same issue. No need to videocall, just need to be in a group voice chat for a 15 minutes.

On xs max ios 14.4 It nearly burns my phone, like 15mins of videocall is enough to kill my phone

Anything new in that case? While video calls phone is getting hot, and its burning hands.
