5 years ago Following up on this changeset comment, here’s some background information about systematic issues in TIGER road names that you should be aware of when using the TIGER 2017 or 2018 roads overlay.

In this project, our team is focusing on editing the Top 102 metro cities from US.
Top 102 US
The features of interest are: road geometry, road name, one ways, turn restrictions and signpost.
For the road geometry we are adding new roads and correct the existing ones if is need using the following sources: Bing Imagery, NAIP Imagery, Digital Globe Imagery, Mapbox Imagery, Open Street Cam, Mapillary, Tiger Roads 2017, local data (also used for editing road name) and Improve OSM (missing roads). To make sure about the quality of the area reviewed, we are using Validation Tool and Keep Right Tool.
We are editing oneways based on Improve OSM data but also using Open Street Cam, Mapillary and imagery.
For editing turn restrictions, our main sources is Open Street Cam, Mapillary map object and Improve OSM.
We are adding signpost using Open Street Cam and Mapillary.
