I'd like to see an issue of the TRIP Report newsletter that explains Balancing and why it's such an important role on the TRIP network. In my opinion, today, too many members of the TRIP community are over-indexing on wanting to be Operators on TRIP.
Yes, Operators are a vital and important role in the network, that said, the bottleneck in the growth and success of the network will be signing up riders all around the world. The Balancer is the one who facilitates that activity.
Any network participant can be a Balancer. So if you want to be an Operator or a Driver you can also be a Balancer.
So this dynamic needs to be better explained so we shift the communities energy and focus to the highest leverage and most important activities that will lead to the success of the TRIP protocol.
