Fail to install #10

i try to install this plugin in Ionic 3

(node:13204) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Unhandled promise rejection (rejection id: 1): CordovaError: Failed to fetch plugin https://github.com/Telerik-Verified-Plugins/Firebase-Invites.git via registry. Probably this is either a connection problem, or plugin spec is incorrect. Check your connection and plugin name/version/URL. Failed to get absolute path to installed module (node:13204) [DEP0018] DeprecationWarning: Unhandled promise rejections are deprecated. In the future, promise rejections that are not handled will terminate the Node.js process with a non-zero exit code.

Can you please provide the command you used to install this plugin?

Hi, I experienced the same error during install. I tried the following commands, none of them worked:

cordova plugin add https://github.com/Telerik-Verified-Plugins/Firebase-Invites --save cordova plugin add https://github.com/Telerik-Verified-Plugins/Firebase-Invites.git --save

Could you try cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-firebase-invites --save instead or is there a reason you want to install directly from the git repo?

Thanks for your quick response. I was following this tutorial. I suppose the plugin wasn't available through cordova that time when Sunil wrote the guide, but I checked it on cordova's site and it's OK now, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Anyhow, the approach you mentioned produces the same error message. The above and the only relevant part left of the message ("plugin spec is incorrect") indicates that something must be wrong with a config in the repo (maybe plugin.xml).
