Signing up for an API Key

With an API KEY you get 20,000 queries/day rather than only 1,000 queries/day without the key.

Steps

  1. Go to the dev portal on the API site.

  2. Click the Get Started button. Image

  3. Click Sign up button. Image

  4. Sign up. Image

  5. Click submit and a verification email is sent to you Image

  6. Click Verify Your Account in that email. Image

  7. Once verified, sign out and back in. Image

  8. Click the Get Started button. Image

  9. Sign In Image

  10. You now have an API key. Regenerate it anytime (especially if it's compromised). Image
