USTVGO Not working #41

Sport 24 is also not working. At minimum it is the disney xd that isnt working

What about disney xd on sports 24? I know that is a free one. It went down for 24 hours then came back up. On their site it shows via phone

So I just tried ustvgo on the temptv addon via kodi and none of the channels are opening. I am using ipvanish for my vpn. I tried having it locate me in australia and usa and neither time would open anything. I attempted to open a & e, abc, disney xd, and amc. I was wondering if I am doing something wrong or if it is happening to others too

Its working fine, make sure your using the latest version-2.0.71. Try without a VPN.

Its working fine, make sure your using the latest version-2.0.71. Try without a VPN.

I got it working. I had to uninstall kodi, reinstall kodi, install tempest, then reinstall the build I'm using. I swear I really just need to code my own build

It must just be certain channels because Disney xd is still working on my tv

So what exactly keeps happening with ustvgo? Are they changing their code monthly in attempt to dissuade kodi users?

They changed something, had to disable ad filter to make it work.

More they change it, more general solution is being developed so eventually none of their changes really blocks us. And I doubt they really bother with few Kodi users, I assume their intentions are elsewhere... but, who knows...

Ok, now I see the reason for changes. They added new channels (Big Ten Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPNU, ESPNews, Olympic Channel, SEC Network, and NFL RedZone).

Now it works again. They added some encypted stuff to protect stream urls, previously they had them only base64 encoded. Side-effect: getting stream urls takes few seconds more now... well, I can live with that :)

Let's see what they do next :)

Small problem is still there. Now it detects many channels to "VPN locked" channels even they are not. :(

From log file, error looks like this:

11:11:18.984 T:140653715664832 ERROR: GetDirectory - Error getting plugin://plugin.video.temptv/?action=ustvgoPlay&url=https%3a%2f%2fustvgo.tv%2fabc-live-streaming-free%2f 11:11:18.985 T:140653715664832 ERROR: CGUIMediaWindow::GetDirectory(plugin://plugin.video.temptv/?action=ustvgoPlay&url=https%3a%2f%2fustvgo.tv%2fabc-live-streaming-free%2f) failed

So I guess there is still a small issue in parsing.

And naturally this works just fine on their own site so this exception thing is somewhat broken now.

Yes on the website the channels work with the VPN turned off or turned on

Not every channel requires VPN. Some work without VPN on website and addon. Some say VPN locked on addon. Website has message "Please use our VPN to watch this channel". Sometimes get luck and find IP address for locked channels not blocked with other VPN. Their VPN not work though with addon, still say VPN locked.
