Anyone know of a tv guide for ustvgo? Bonus points for one I can use with Kodi

issues420 commented 3 years ago

I use a custom plugin (base code is similar to ustvgo.py ) for for TVHeadend. My tvheadend server then pulls daily from "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/acidjesuz/EPG/master/guide.xml". these seem to work for most of the ustvgo channels. Hope this help.

Not the simplest setup. You would need a TVheadend server running somewhere with a custom plugin for streamlink. That plugin is then loaded as a pipe in the tvheadend server. the tvheadend server polls the epg daily for the epg and you run a iptv client / tv headend client on Kodi. Then you would just view the channels normal in kodi as they were a tv channel with the EPG. I have had this setup for four or five years and it works fine. I only have to update the plugin when the site code changes, similar to how you ahve to update this temptv code when the site changes code. You should look into TVheadend server and IPTV channels. This may be possible with a local server on my local Kodi box but I have not tried on the same machine. I run a tvheadend server at my business then connect my home to that.
