Here is my attempt to make it material. @iamsarker, you are the expert to know if this is still recognizable with this materialized form.

Thanks. Almost there, please change just bit more. Please increase the height.

The height is restricted by the alignment of the other currency symbols. Might need to tweak the proportion of somewhere else. It's actually already kind of taller compared to the norm.

@iamsarker could you elaborate? Does the circle at the end need to be smaller? The top really shouldn't be tapered at all. I believe that will pull away from Material Design.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangladeshi_taka The symbol here and in most of the fonts I've looked at show a the line crossing above the tail.

Once again it's not a currency many of us are familiar with and we want to get this right. Really rough idea overlaying the Segoe UI font's symbol, something where the tail is below.

Here is my second take on the Unicode character. I went with an unconventional 1.5-pixel width.

I like the look of yours and it follows the general symbol a little nicer. Might be the preview but it looks a little off the grid. 1.5 width lines should still be anchored on one side to a point (never the center).
