@andrejsharapov Thank you for your suggestion, but I don't think that cog-clockwise is a good solution for a process icon.
I can suggest this option
@andrejsharapov Thank you very much for your help. I think it's my fault that I didn't describe the purpose of icon in details. I have an application that have many background processes:
So, there can be from 0 to 15/20 threads doing this job. And if user wants to see these processes he clicks button/menu item with this icon.
However, the icon you suggest is about loading or I am wrong?
Space in the icon is limited. Drawing 3 cogs and many dots, as in your example, will not work, as it will look like porridge. As for the name of the icon, it will most likely be something like my example: cog, loading, to make it easier for users to find.
@andrejsharapov I am not a designer, but looking only at icon I wouldn't say that it is about processes. I wonder what others think
It might be worth thinking about similar options https://pictogrammers.com/library/mdi/icon/cog-play/ There may be a cog with one arrow showing that the process is running https://pictogrammers.com/library/mdi/icon/cog-transfer/ Anyway, these are just ideas. We are waiting for other options.
@andrejsharapov Could you make a variant with thinner lines but with arrows as in the example I provided? If it is not difficult for you, just to compare two variants

Before submitting a new icon request, please confirm the following:
What would you use this icon for?
I want this icon for button. If user clicks this button he gets information about processes.
Give us an example of what this icon might look like.
Currently there is

code. However, this icon doesn't have dynamism. That's why I suggest to add something like this
