For some reason if you enter Chapter 1 first in the Steam Beta versions, the fight pointer does not work at all, so you have to quit the game and enter from Chapter 2 immediately (only two splits use the fight pointer - dj and snowgrave neo battle end, so its not that big of an issue but still worth noting; probably unfixable)
To Reproduce
Start the game, go into Chapter 1 immediately. The fight pointers will show random values.
