Hotkey has stopped working #217

from yesterday the hotkey has stopped working if I press the hotkey it doesn't do anything I tried changing the hotkey, uninstalled and re-installed, the app has all permission from system preferences

Please help

What version do you use? Is it the one from Mac App Store? What Mac version do you have?

I use fly cut downloaded from the AppStore. version 1.9.4 I am running Mohave on an iMac and Macbook pro.

Recently the hot key only brings up a menu on the screen but does not paste. (See attached). To use flycut, I have to use the menu to paste. This really cuts down on speed. Is there a workaround?

I'm seeing the same behavior using version 1.9.6 installed via Homebrew. Flycut is also using 100% cpu when the overlay is open. This same version has been behaving just fine for me for a while, so this new behavior is curious. Here are my settings if helpful:
