Terminals-Origin / Terminals

Terminals is a secure, multi tab terminal services/remote desktop client. It uses Terminal Services ActiveX Client (mstscax.dll). The project started from the need of controlling multiple connections simultaneously. It is a complete replacement for the mstsc.exe (Terminal Services) client. This is official source moved from Codeplex.

Errors when reopening multiple RDP sessions #105

Open sethrandall opened 7 years ago

When I open terminals after I have closed it using the "Open connections next time I run Terminals", I will get RDP errors. It only appears to happen if I have multiple RDP connections that need to open at the same time. Since I don't have Terminals remember my passwords, I think Windows 10 is having issues running more than one authentication prompt. A screenshot of the error is attached.

Can you provide more details? Target machine OS, Terminals OS version. Exact steps how to reproduce? Log files and example exported favorite may also help.

The current testing I'm doing is using Terminals 4.0.1 with a Files Store on Windows 10 Pro 1703. I am testing on two Server 2012R2 servers. My credentials are stored in the Credential Management without a password (our security team is very strict about password storage). I log in to both initially without issue. When I close Terminals, I select the option to "Open connections next time I run Terminals". When I start Terminals, I get a login window for the first server prompting for a password. For the second (and any subsequent) server, I get the error. I don't get the error for 2003 servers.

I have attached the XML file with favorites and the log file. Terminals Test.txt CurrentLog - Copy.txt
