Adding a choosable time-period for Database synchronization #262

Hey there. Would it be possible to add kinda counter to change the time between every synchronization with the SQL Express Database to prevent Terminals from freezing every 30 seconds. That makes Terminals unusable.

Or at least can someone tell me where the actual time between every synchronization is set within the source code, so that I can try to fix that be myself?

Is there anyone how is running in the same problem?
