Add config options #139

Figured I'd go ahead and fix my own issue. I also welcome discussion of other options that could be added, since this is the first and only so far.

At present: Fixes #138

Immediately after seeing that my fix for #138 worked, the player looked down at the ground... and crashed. Hence renderTentPlacement exists as of cc9a2d1.
