Having all information about the State class, the various data sensors we use (maybe with links to their data sheets or integration manuals) and our mission to move away from Arduino and into platform-agnostic code would be very helpful, speaking from experience.

I have started working on this over on the Wiki tab. It's in early stages but hopefully the layout of it makes sense. GitHub's wiki features seem a bit lacking, so we may want to look for other hosting options in the future.
