Add solar rooftop potential by LGA #352

ISF in collaboration with APVI undertook a study to estimate “ How much rooftop solar can be installed in Australia?”. The study was funded by the Clean Energy Finance Corporation and the Property Council of Australia. One of the deliverables was to have this information loaded on AREMI.
The layers contain LGA wise information on the total potential capacity and energy output as well as a zonal breakdown (5 zones – residential, commercial, industrial, mixed and primary production).

The first file has the total solar rooftop potential for each LGA. The second one has the potential split by different planning zones.

CEFC & Property Council will be releasing the report on 12th June, so in a month. it will be good to have the maps on just before.
