Add Postal Areas 2021 in region mapping #1223

User feedback (for context):

Hi National Map Team,

I’m trying to display data on National Map by Postal Areas 2021 (ABS approximation) and have been unable to figure out how.

Currently I can display the outlines of the 2021 Postal Areas through the dataset available at National Datasets -> Boundaries -> ABS Statistical Boundaries -> 2021 -> Postal Areas (POA) but that is all. Every other postcode dataset that I add to the map displays as Postal Areas 2016 (ABS approximation), including the Census 2021 datasets.

I note that when I upload data that is split by 2021 SA3, the map correctly displays by Statistical Area Level 3 2021 by code (ABS). I’ve tried playing around with the postcode column name but have had no success.

Is it possible to display datasets by 2021 Postal Area and could you please let me know how it’s done?
