NEII Viewer: Geofabric layer issues #26

We are having trouble loading two layers Surface Hydrology - Water Storage Water Bodies and Major Network Streams. Testing has shown that it is working when using other access options e.g. previous GLSB file, used for testing and GIS clients. I checked and the layer names and data url are referred correctly in the JSON file.

Interestingly however, if I manually paste these data url via the "Add data" function", it comes up with a popup message "Use conversion service? This file is not directly supported by Terria Map". If I select ok then the layer is displayed correctly. Attached is a screen grab. viewer error

Mark Dyall from our Geofabric team, have looked into the Geoserver configuration and failed to identify any discrepancies that may be causing the failure of the two WMS layers (Water Storage Water bodies and Network Stream Major) in the NEII viewer. Mark also completed further testing and the Web services are rendering when directly loaded on the NEII viewer and not using the NEII proxy. Can test by using the add data function and the below address.

http://geofabric.bom.gov.au/simplefeatures/ows?service=wms&version=1.1.0&request=GetCapabilities

This suggest to Mark that there is an issue for these layers, coming from the NEII Viewer configuration.

Assist your assistance to troubleshoot this issue.

Thanks, Chantelle

Hi Steve,

I tested this just now and these 2 layers seems to be working which is great. Did you make any changes? I spoke to Mark and he did not make changes. Be good to understand what caused this error.
