A nice list of open WMTS basemaps (and that actually work!) #4314

I do all my scientific analysis and visualization in python, and use the "geoviews" package for mapping. It makes a bunch of nice WMTS options available, and it seems it would be simple and robust to use these for TerriaJS: https://github.com/holoviz/geoviews/blob/master/geoviews/tile_sources.py#L61-L88
