Investigate: story scene previews (technical implementation) #5753

To assist with story navigation for producers and viewers, it would be great to display image previews of story scenes (concept image below). Similar functionality has been demonstrated and requested in DTV interviews.

Q: How might scene previews be achieved in v8?

Note: this is not intended as the layout for stories, just to demonstrate technical requirement for scene previews

There is a JS library that can take screenshots of pages client-side - https://html2canvas.hertzen.com/ - Not sure about the performance or whether it will work perfectly for Terria page.
