Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. If I plug in my modem, to access internet, it fails to get on internet
unless I temporarily disable PeerBlock; then enable PeerBlock.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

When fails to connect to internet:
In my System Tray I see a double television icon, with little yellow thing
under it, that moves left and right.

When successfully connects to internet:
In my System Tray I see a double television icon, one is black, the other
is blue -or- both are blue color.

64-bit?

PeerBlock version 1.0+(r277)BETA RELEASE

Looks like you're using the Bogon list, which can block many local-network
addresses.
If you're going to run with Bogon, we strongly recommend either adding the
iana-multicast list as list of type "Allow", or else going through and creating
a
custom allow-list containing the addresses in your local network, plus select
multicast/broadcast IP addresses (like 239.255.255.252, et al).

If you could try out iana-multicast as a workaround, just to make sure nothing
else
strange is going on, and report back that would be great. It could also be
that some
of your ISP's IPs are being blocked, in which case you may need to Permanently
Allow
them.
