An enemy that has multiple pieces of equipment with countdowns will often use dice suboptimally. For example, I've observed the AI for Rat King end a turn by putting a 3 into a piece of equipment with countdown 5, when it had another of the same equipment with a countdown of 2. (It then lost before getting another turn.) I've also seen it use a 2 and a 4 to activate equipment with countdown 5, when it had other equipment with countdown 2 that it could have activated and then used the 4 more effectively.
