Problem with the functionality #23

Hi there!

The app is fine and I am happy have and use it. However, there is a problem, which I can not solve.

After establishing the connection, the only thing I can do is to disarm zones, but nothing else.

Having red comments and seeing the rating, I assume that the problem is with me, but... I can not solve it :)

Can you help me please?

Sure thing. You never know it might be a bug.

Couple questions...

Which alarm do you have? Which ip module (IP100 or IP150)? Can you see the Arm/Disarm/Stay/Sleep buttons and press them (they flash but nothing happen) or are they completely disabled / greyed?

Please email me a log from within the app: Go to settings and choose 'verbose' log mode Restart the app (complete exit, open again) Connect to the alarm and try to arm & sleep & stay again to reproduce the error. Disconnect from the alarm Open the menu and go into 'view logs' At the bottom click on the feedback button and email me the log.

Here are the answers:

Sure thing. You never know it might be a bug.

Couple questions...

  1. Which alarm do you have? - We use Paradox system
  2. Which ip module (IP100 or IP150)? - It is (actually there are) IP150
  3. Can you see the Arm/Disarm/Stay/Sleep buttons and press them (they flash but nothing happen) or are they completely disabled /greyed? – I see the buttons and can press them. They flash but nothing happens. Sometimes the intervals of flashing seem different, i.e. the number of flashes differs.
  4. Please email me a log from within the app:

Disconnect from the alarm Open the menu and go into 'view logs' At the bottom click on the feedback button and email me the log.

Unfortunately the logs look fine, so I'm not too sure what the issue is. I've made the logs a bit more detailed. Here's a link to the updated app (you will also find a few more features and a new more modern look). Please send a new log file with this version. thanks

I tried 3 times, but my Microsoft Outlook kept crushing, so I had to find alternative way :)

Well, I have to blame myself ☺ Your app works perfectly, I had to pay attention that part of our system consists of IP100, with IP150 it works like a dream……

Now my question is – can I use AlarmIn with IP100?

On the site of Google Play I’ve read that the support for IP100 has not been tested. Now you know – AlarmIn disarms, but does not arm ☺

Unfortunately I don't have an ip100 to test and develop with, so it won't be possible for me to support it. If there's enough interest I might make a plan, but its not on the agenda for now. Sorry
