Version 1.6.4, released in 2022, was intended to be the last version1 release. However, version 2 is still in beta and many people are continuing to use version 1 for that reason. There are a number of issues, which should be fixed.
However, in the intervening time the toolset has changed and a number of supported runtmes have reached end of life. In particular .NET Core 2.1, for which we supplied an agent, is now deemed a security risk.
In order to continue support of version 1, I plan to replace the .NET Core 2.1 agent with a 3.1 agent. User tests will, of course, continue to run, so I don't consider this as a breaking change.
It is, however, a big change, so I plan to release this and other outstanding fixes as version 1.7.0 of the GUI.
